Do you ride?

I ride a 525 IRS and I love it.

I own an 08 Outlaw 525s and also an 06 Pred 500(same motor as the Outlaw 500), and I love them both.  The 525 is faster stock than the 500, but the 500 is very torquey and very reliable.

the 500 its a real nice machine it comes with some pro and con its got the fox podium xi shock which are way better than the fx rydes on the 525 but you get shity dunlop radial tires on the 500 the 525 have a pretty good maxxis radial and the 525 has more top end but sound isnt as throaty as the 500

I just got an 06 Outlaw 500 IRS.   I got the 500 for the reliability but it has some pretty good get up and go.  I am not into top speed, just like to come out of the corners fast and be able to wheely.  The 500 sure will.  It has the original tires with screws in it for the snow.

I just ordered a full set of ITP Holeshot GNCCs for it, can't wait to get those on.

2008 525 IRS.... stone stock except DG bumper and REM nerfs and heel guards.  Ridden at Tahuya State Forest (trails) in WA and in Florence and Sand Lake (dunes) in OR.  Does GREAT both places, although doing donuts in the sand is harder with the rear end hooking up so much better.  Moved up from a Yamaha Wolverine 450 4x4..... NOW i'm learning how to wheelie!!!!  I'm so glad I made the move..... AND, wife rides a Scrambler 500.... I can finally kick her butt.... and my son in law's Kawasaki KFX450R too !!!!

I just bought a left over 07  outlaw 500.  Read alot of the info here and decided to to the riding style I was interested in the 500 was tamer to ride.  So far so good.  Not as much power maybe, but alot less maintenace.

i was recently able to track down an 08 525 IRS brand new in crate. i liked the styling on the 08 better then the single headlight look on the 09's and 10's. hoping to have a lot of fun on this quad. ;D
